Cibali Primary School Playground

The aim of this course is to explore the making process through materials, manufacturing and performativity. A plunge to the architectural culture and the making process is intended. Different materials will be explored and their performativity will be tested. Students are expected to be hands on, experimenting material and creating, understanding, analyzing and documenting their making process through the process.
Lectures on materials with different properties and their manufacturing process will be conducted. Students will be assigned three material performativity projects during the semester, and they are expected to design and produce an outdoor installation. Guests will be invited to give presentations on exhibition design, material performance and making process.
